Bulldog breathing problems

So what is it that makes everyone love the bulldog breed. Well for myself it was love at first sight when I meet a bulldog at the age of seven. The charm of theses dogs is in their so ugly they are cute look and the amazing personality that ever bulldog has. 

So let's talk health problems the main problem you hear about is there breathing, this problem is caused by a lot of owners having over weight dogs. And the bloody kennel club telling people this is how Bulldogs should look it's not. 

My bulldog will happily do a 6 mile walk but he wouldn't make breed standard according to the kennel club. But keep to the breed standard will give you a funny looking highly unhealthy bulldog. This in my view is nothing more than animal cruelty!!  The picture is of winstion and how a healthy bulldog should look.

So this will be my bulldog blog from now on, as most of you know I have a bulldog  called Winston who is the absolute joy of my life. 

As we all know Bulldogs are many many problems, we will be talking about them upcoming entreats and how to resolve them and help to keep your bulldog in the best possible shape.
